Sleep soundly with Sunnah

Adab-Adab According to the Sunnah Sleeping

a) Do not sleep too late, after the Isha prayer 'without reasonable excuse:
"Whereas the Prophet Sallallaahu 'Beautiful allaihi hate sleep the night before (Isha prayers) and talk-talk (which is not helpful) afterwards." [Narrated by Al-Bukhari Hadith No. No. 568, and Muslim.647 (235)]

b) ablutions:
"When you go to bed (to sleep) there shall be as wudhumu ablutions prior to prayer." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari No. 247 and Muslim No. 2710)

c) Sleep escorted on the right side of the body:
"Lie down on your right side." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari no. 247 and Muslim, no. 2710)

d) Making the right arm as a pillow:
"Rasulullah 'alaihi wasallam, when put to sleep in his right hand under his right cheek." (Narrated by Abu Dawud no. 5045, At-Tirmidhi No. 3395, Ibn Majah No. 3877 and Ibn Hibban No. 2350)

e) Do not sleep on the stomach (the stomach below):
"Surely (prone sleep position) is the wrath of God sleeping position Exalted and Glorious." (Narrated by Abu Daud with authentic narrators)

f) Reading the Signs of the Qur'an (before sleep), among others:

• Reading section chair.
  
  In the story of Abu Hurairah Radhiallahu 'anhu with the demons who stole the charity property, mentioned that the devil was saying,
  
  "Let me teach you some words that God gave him the benefit.If you went to bed, read the section chair. Thus, there will always be the guardian of God for you, and Satan will not approach you until morning. "
  
  When Abu Huraira told the Messenger Sallallaahu 'alahi wa sallam, he said,
  
  "Really it was honest, but it is a liar." (Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 2187)


• Reading the last two verses of surat Al-Baqaroh.
  
  "The last two verses of surat Al-Baqarah, anyone who read it on the night were these two sentences is enough for him." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari, no. 4008, Muslim, no. 807)


• Reading Mu'awwidzatain (alFalaq & Annas).
  
  "When the Prophet 'alaihi wa sallam to rest in his bed every night he brings together two hands and then blow the second te, sweaty hands and continued to read her' Qul Huwallahu Sunday 'and' Qul A` udzu birabbil Falaq 'and' Qul A `udzu birabbinnas', then rubbing his hands all over his body he could reach, starting from the head and face and body parts closest reach. • Reading Surah alMulk


• Reading Surah asSajdah.
  
  "Allah's blessings are not yours respectfully alaihi sleep before reading Alif Lam Tanzil mim (As-Rug letter) and Tabaarakalladzi biyadihil-Mulk (surat Al-Mulk)" (Narrated by Tirmidhi, Hadith Sahih, see Shahihul Jami '4 / 255)

g) to catch two hands and then blown and read surat Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Naas. باسمك ربي وضعت جنبي وبك أرفعه إن أ مسكت نفسي فارحمها
و إن أرسلتها فاحفظها بما تحفظ به عبادك الصا لحين

"Bismikarabbii wadho'tu jambii wa bika arfa'uhu in amsakta nafsii farhamhaa wa in arsaltahaa fahfazhhaa bimaa tahfazha bihi 'ibaadakasshaalihiin."

"By Thy Name, O Wed-ku, I'm putting my hand. And with thy name will I get from it. When you hold my life, so have mercy on it. But when you release it, then save, as you will keep thy servants the righteous. "(Narrated by Al-Bukhari No. 6320, Muslim No. 2714, Abu Daud No. 5050 and At-Tirmidhi No. 3401).

i) When the switch position bed read:
لا إ له إ لاالله الواحد القهار رب السماوات والأرض وما بينهما العزيز الغفار

"Laa ilaha illallahu waahidulqahhaaru rabbussamaawaati wal Ardhi baynahumaa wa maa 'aziizulghaffaru."

"There is no god except the right diibadahi God Almighty, Almighty, Lord of the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Most Exalted, the Most Forgiving." (Narrated by Al-Hakim and agreed I/540 disahihkan by Imam WINNOWING Dzahabi)

j) When was afraid when the bed read:

أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من غضبه و شرعباده ومن همزات الشيا طين وأن يحضرون

"A'udzu bikalimaatillahi attammati min ghadhabihi wa 'wa iqaabihi syarri' ibaadihi wa wa min hamazaatisysyayaathiin ayyahdhuruun."

"I seek refuge with the words of God are perfect from His wrath, His punishment, from the evil of His servants, from the temptations of the devil, and of their coming to me." (Narrated by Abu Daud No. 3893, At-Tirmidhi No. 3528 and others)

k) a flick of the bed:
"If one of you will sleep, shall take a piece of cloth and whips her bed with a cloth while saying 'Bismillah', because he did not know what happened After he's had." (Narrated by Al Bukhari No. 6320, Muslim No. 2714, At-Tirmidhi No. 3401 and Abu Daud No. 5050)



Sunnah after waking from sleep

l) When you wake up, go to:

الحمد لله الذي أحيانا بعد ما أماتنا وإليه النشور

"Alhamdulillahilladzii ahyaanaa ba'damaa amaatanaa ilayhinnusyuur wa."

"Praise be to Allah Who gave us after him put to sleep and to Him is the Resurrection." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari No. 6312 and the Muslim No. 2711)

m) After waking up, rubbing disunnahkan former bedroom is in the face and hands:
"Then the Prophet got 'alaihi wasallam from her bed and then sat down to rub her face with her hands." [HR. No Muslim. 763 (182)]

n) Bersiwak:
"When the Messenger of Allah 'alaihi wasallam got up (from sleep), he cleaned his mouth with bersiwak." (Narrated by Al Bukhari No. 245 and Muslim No. 255)

o) Beristinsyaq and beristintsaar (inhale and then withdraw or spraying water from the nose):
"When one of you wake up from sleep, then three times as beristintsaarlah sesunggguhnya nasal cavity of the devil in the night." (Narrated by Bukhari No. 3295 and the Muslim No. 238)

p) Wash both hands three times, the word of Allah 'alaihi wa sallam:
"When one of you wake up, let him put his hand into the water dipper, before he was cleaning it three times." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari No. 162 and Muslim, No.278)

When having a bad dream

If a bad dream, do not ever tell anyone about the left and then spit three times (narrated by Muslim IV/1772), and seek refuge with Allah from Satan the outcast and the bad dream seen. (It was done three times) (narrated by Muslim IV/1772-1773). Should be moved from side sleep position before. (Narrated by Muslim IV/1773). Or if you want to wake up and pray. (Narrated by Muslim IV/1773).
